West London’s Slip ‘n’ Slide is home to some of the best house music that crossed the Atlantic from the 90s onwards, and today the label continues to refresh the classics as genre-bending producer Atjazz remixes a Blaze classic. Kevin Hedge & Josh Milan released under many monikers, including Black Rascals, dominating the house music scene in the aftermath of the legendary Paradise Garage. The production duo brought an R&B feel to house with cool, rhythmically vibrant productions like ‘So In Love’ featuring Cassio Ware, now remixed by a producer who understands what it means to cross genre boundaries; Atjazz takes the breezy original and adds a decidedly heavy electronic touch, bright and experimental in its approach yet classic in feel.
