German-Turkish producer Butch is best known for his productions on labels including 8Bit, Trapez, Area Remote and Great Stuff, where he has built a reputation for his creative and elegant productions. His use of rich sound textures was perfectly displayed in his 2008 artist album 'Papillon', which has been billed as one of the finest electronic albums of recent times. DJ, Producer and record label boss, Butch runs the successful 'Bouq' imprint alongside studio partner Amir, which this year celebrated its second anniversary. Today he joins the Snatch! family of artists with his latest creation, Ice Cream. As its name suggests, the original is a cool, sweet and refreshing delight. Perfect for the hottest of summer floors. Rolling drums, soulful vocal licks and the most recognizable and effect of drops, make this a summer smash in waiting. On the remix Snatch! welcome back Adam Port alongside his Keinemusik partner &Me. The pair take Ice Cream on a polar opposite trip. Deep, trippy and percussive, this remix is definitely one of the 'heads'. The third and final remix comes from Butch's label partner at Bouq, Amir. Whilst injecting a techy edge, Amir also keeps things deep with smooth key riffs and the original's vocal.
